Never Home is a chordless trombone-led album featuring compositions and arrangements by Nick Lombardelli. The album compiles 9 songs and arrangements Nick had written over the prior decade or so. Never Home is inspired by hard bop bands led by Max Roach and Booker Little, as well as the music of avant garde players like Woody Shaw and Eric Dolphy. The album features Josh Lee, Elliot Bild, Sandy Eldred, and Steven Perry.

Secret Suite is a 5-movement jazz suite recorded in February 2018 and released December 2020. The album sits somewhere between a collection of straight ahead jazz tunes and a classical suite, inspired by artists like Miles Davis/Gil Evans, Freddie Hubbard, and Shostakovich. The album features Tim Brey, Mike Boone, Matt Scarano, Joe Anderson, Chris Oatts, Jack Saint Clair, and Sean Bailey.
